Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 21, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to cleaning services provided by FiberCareLab and to the use of fibercarelab.com.

By submitting a quote request through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Submitting a quote request does not, by itself, create a confirmed service appointment.

1. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on the information, photos, videos and descriptions provided by the customer.

Pricing may be adjusted if the actual scope or condition of the work differs materially from the information provided when the quote was prepared. This may include differences in the number or size of areas or items, level of soiling, staining, pet contamination or additional treatment required.

If an inspection reveals that additional work or a significant adjustment to the quoted price is required, this will be discussed with the customer before the additional work is performed.

Applicable taxes are added where required.

2. Appointments & Access

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and to the areas or items being cleaned.

Whenever possible, small personal items, toys, clothing and other objects should be removed from the cleaning area before the appointment.

FiberCareLab does not normally move large or heavy furniture, electronics or other items that may present a risk of damage or injury.

Children and pets should be kept away from the active work area during cleaning.

3. Inspection & Suitability for Cleaning

Before cleaning, FiberCareLab may inspect the carpet, upholstery, mattress or area rug and may request information or photographs of manufacturer, care or material tags.

FiberCareLab reserves the right to decline cleaning where the material, construction or existing condition presents an unreasonable risk of damage or requires a specialized cleaning process that we do not provide.

4. Existing Wear & Damage

Professional cleaning is intended to remove soil and residue but cannot reverse physical wear or restore fibres that are already damaged.

Pre-existing conditions may include fibre wear or deterioration, discoloration, fading, permanent staining, previous chemical damage, damaged seams, loose fibres or other defects that existed before cleaning.

In some cases, existing wear or damage may become more noticeable after dirt and residue have been removed.

5. Stains & Spot Treatment

FiberCareLab uses professional cleaning products and treatment methods with the goal of achieving the best reasonable improvement.

Complete removal of every stain cannot be guaranteed.

Results depend on factors including the type and age of the stain, the material being cleaned, previous cleaning or chemical treatments and the existing condition of the fibres.

Some substances can permanently alter the colour or structure of a material and cannot be corrected through cleaning alone.

6. Pet Accidents & Odour Treatment

Pet urine and other contamination may penetrate beyond the visible surface into carpet backing, underlay, flooring, furniture filling or other underlying materials.

Additional treatment may be recommended depending on the extent and depth of the contamination.

Professional cleaning and odour treatment may significantly improve affected areas, but complete removal of contamination or odour cannot always be guaranteed where it has penetrated into materials that cannot be reached through the cleaning process.

7. Upholstery & Delicate Materials

Different upholstery fabrics require different cleaning methods.

FiberCareLab may request photographs of the furniture and its care or material tag before confirming the service.

FiberCareLab reserves the right to decline cleaning of materials that are not suitable for our cleaning process or that present an unreasonable risk of colour loss, shrinkage, water marking or other damage.

8. Area Rugs

Our standard area rug cleaning service is limited to suitable synthetic area rugs.

We do not provide standard cleaning for wool, cotton, viscose, silk or other natural or delicate-fibre rugs that require specialized rug-cleaning methods.

Customers may be asked to provide a photograph of the entire rug and its material tag before the service is confirmed.

9. Drying Times

Drying times are estimates only and may vary depending on the material, temperature, humidity, ventilation, airflow and amount of cleaning required.

Customers should follow any drying and ventilation recommendations provided after the service.

Large furniture should not be placed directly onto damp carpet unless appropriate protection is used.

10. Customer-Provided Information

Customers are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge regarding the areas or items requiring cleaning.

Customers should inform FiberCareLab of any known concerns, including previous chemical treatments, unusual stains, pet accidents or existing damage.

Photos and videos submitted for quoting purposes are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.1 Photos & Videos of Completed Work.

FiberCareLab may photograph or record cleaned carpets, upholstery and other completed work for documentation and promotional purposes, including use on our website, Google Business Profile and social media.

We make reasonable efforts to exclude people, addresses, personal documents, family photographs and other identifying information from promotional content.

If you prefer that photos or videos of work completed at your property not be used for promotional purposes, please let us know before or during your appointment. Opting out will not affect your service.

11. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless another arrangement has been agreed upon in advance.

Accepted payment methods may include e-Transfer, cash, credit card or other payment methods offered by FiberCareLab.

Invoices and receipts may be provided electronically.

12. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact FiberCareLab as soon as reasonably possible.

We understand that plans can change. However, repeated last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may affect our ability to accept future bookings.

13. Limitation of Liability

FiberCareLab is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, permanent discoloration, fibre deterioration, manufacturing defects or damage caused by previous cleaning products or treatments.

Where an existing condition or material presents an identifiable cleaning risk, FiberCareLab will make reasonable efforts to discuss the concern with the customer before proceeding.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

14. Service Results

FiberCareLab aims to provide professional cleaning and achieve the best reasonable result based on the material and its existing condition.

Cleaning may significantly improve cleanliness and appearance, but it cannot restore normal wear, damaged fibres, permanent colour changes or other physical damage.

Individual results will vary depending on the material, condition, type of contamination and previous treatments.

15. Website & Quote Requests

By submitting a quote request through fibercarelab.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that the information provided in your quote request is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submitting a quote request does not create a confirmed service appointment or require FiberCareLab to accept the requested work.

A booking is confirmed only after the service details, price, appointment date and time have been agreed upon between the customer and FiberCareLab.

16. Privacy

Personal information submitted through our website or provided in connection with our services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

FiberCareLab may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The current version will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.

 19. Customer Concerns

If you have a concern about the cleaning service or the results, please contact FiberCareLab within 48 hours after the service.

Please provide details of the concern and, where helpful, photos of the affected area so we can review the situation.

Where appropriate, FiberCareLab may inspect the affected area and discuss reasonable options for addressing the concern.

This 48-hour period does not limit any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.

20. Safety After Cleaning

Customers are responsible for following any safety, drying and ventilation instructions provided after the cleaning service.

Carpets, upholstery, mattresses and other cleaned surfaces may remain damp for a period of time after cleaning. Extra care should be taken when moving between damp carpet and hard flooring, as surfaces may become slippery.

Children and pets should be kept away from treated or damp areas until they are sufficiently dry.
